What is OpenEars?

We live in a time where loneliness has quietly become part of many lives. Often, what we long for most is simply a space where someone will listen without judgment or agenda. This isn’t therapy or diagnosis, it’s a genuine human conversation, where being heard and seen matters on its own.

I deeply believe that we flourish when we are heard. To be listened to is, in a way, to be recognized, to be reminded that we belong in the world.

OpenEars is my way of offering that kind of presence: warm, thoughtful, and real.

About me

I'm a philosopher and social communicator with a background in ecclesiastical studies, which has allowed me to bridge philosophy and theology, two fields that help me understand the human experience more deeply.

My main interests in philosophy are moral philosophy, ethics, political thought, and existentialism, areas that explore what it means to live well, to act with others, and to seek meaning.
These reflections have shaped my understanding of how essential human connection is.

For the past four years, I’ve worked in education as a Spanish and philosophy teacher. Through that experience, I’ve learned that beyond knowledge or ideas, what truly transforms us is being listened to, really listened to.

Alongside the listening sessions, I also guide philosophical readings and reflections that help people understand different aspects of their lives through philosophy. Exploring ideas about ethics, meaning, and being can open gentle paths toward clarity and growth.

I hope this becomes a space where you feel heard, understood, and a little less alone.
